AMDIGO Healthcare offers healthcare companies a unique combination of services to enter or to expand their presence in Latin America. Through these services and together with own and partnered products AMDIGO helps to better and faster provide healthcare products for an ever-growing need in the region.
HISTORY
AMDIGO Healthcare was founded in 2019 in Panama City by Stefan Bellinghausen, a former German expat and pharmaceutical executive with more than 10 years of experience in the Latin American healthcare market.

Based on the profound knowledge of the decision making process, expectations and constraints of companies that want to distribute their products in Latin America and in depth understanding of the local needs for new and innovative products AMDIGO gathered a team of seasoned experts. Through these experts AMDIGO provides a unique single touch point turnkey solution that enables companies to bring their healthcare products more efficiently to the market thus improving the health and wellbeing of the Latin population.

STEFAN BELLINGHAUSEN
President & Managing Director
Stefan is a pharmaceutical executive with more than 10 years of experience in a wide range of Latin American markets and the Caribbean and prior to that in the European market. Having established the local affiliate in Venezuela for Nycomed in 2008, he takes over the role of Business Development, Marketing & Sales Support and later on the General Management for the company in Venezuela. In this function he manages the integration with Takeda and converting Takeda Venezuela for several consecutive years into the fastest growing pharmaceutical company in Venezuela diversifying the business from primary care to OTC and specialty care treatments reaching peak sales of 100 MN USD in 2014.

Later that year he assumes the role of the Regional Director of Latin America for Acino Switzerland reaching the top growth position in the private market in Central America between 2015 - 2017; he builds a central Hub in Panama to support and align all countries of the region and focusses on portfolio expansion and inorganic growth opportunities.
​
In 2018 Stefan founds Rubazul Inc., a privately-owned investment company based in Panama that develops and invests in local and regional businesses in Latin America. AMDIGO is Rubazul´s first healthcare investment.

Stefan´s role at AMDIGO Healthcare as its President and CEO is to lead and develop the Service/Consulting and Licensing/Distribution business.

MAZCIEL
LUIS
Consultancy Director
Mazciel has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical business in market research, sales force management, marketing and business development. After years in different roles in multinational companies such as Eli Lilly, Roche and Nycomed in Venezuela, she joins Global Management USA, LLC a Florida based consultancy firm for Pharmaceuticals with focus on Latin America in 2011. As a Marketing Consultant, she led the BD area for Takeda Pharmaceuticals for the Andean Region: Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela, she managed Latin American Marketing Department for Acino and has provided Business Support for Roche Central America and Caribbean.

At AMDIGO Healthcare Mazciel is responsible for the consultancy projects covering the whole Latin American region including Caribbean markets: General market research, M&A Support, Portfolio Analysis, Market Access, Sales Force Deployment (Targeting & Segmentation) and Performance Measurement.
